Nadasurabhi' group's concert / Maryland, USA

The 'Nadasurabhi' group, featuring disciples of Usha Char presented a music concert at the Siva Vishnu Temple Auditorium, Lanham, Maryland, USA recently.

The group of teenagers born and brought up in USA who performed were Vocal: Deepthi Raghunandan, Sindhu Raghunandan, Sindhoora Murthy, Jaishri Shankar, Deepa Chellappa, Sharanya Sharma and Apoorva Ananth, violin by Ranjani Atur and mridangam by Gautam Sudhakar.

The performed to a packed auditorium. The entire programme was well coordinated and the song selection ranged from Muthiah Bhagavathar's Daru "Mathe" in Kamaach, Mysore Vasudevachar's "Bhajare Manasa" in Abheri, Dikshitar's "Jayathi Shive" in Bhavani etc and concluded with a special Thillana in Sumanasaranjini composed by Anoor Ananthakrishna Sharma (Shivu).
