Carnatica, the Chennai-based arts organisation is presenting the Bharat Sangeet Utsav 2010 in Bengaluru from the 26th to the 28th of February 2010. This event is promoted by the Brigade Group.
The fest will take place at MLR Convention Centre and Woodrose at Brigade Millenium Complex, J. P. Nagar, 7th Phase which boasts of a modern auditorium.
This year's festival features a perfect blend of Carnatic, Hindustani, Western, folk and Sufi music, besides thematic dance performances, says K. N. Shashikiran, managing trustee of Carnatica.
Among the artistes featured are Ganesh-Kumaresh, Anuradha Sriram and Sriram Parasuram, Srishti - The Tamil Rock Band, R.K. Padmanabha, Vidyabhushana, Manasi Prasad, Sanjay Subrahmanyan, The Manganiars from Rajasthan, Pattabhiram Pandit, Pt. Vinayak Torvi, Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar and Nirupama-Rajendra, the dance duo.
