The Sri Sumukhi Rajasekharan Memorial Foundation, which aims at promoting Indian art, Culture and Education, was launched at a heart-warming function on February 15, 2003 as a Registered Public Charitable Trust, in Mylapore.

The Foundation has been formed by
S. Surendranath (Art Director) - President,
Dr. S. Amarnath (Professor) - Vice-President, and
S. Aparna (Chartered Accountant) - Treasurer, the adopted
children of the beloved couple.

The Aim of the Foundation is to bring the Unsung Heroes to Limelight and provide a cultural platform to showcase their talents, because there seems to be an imperative need for such a forum for children.

'The specialty of the Foundation is to ensure that the children and parents present themselves in south Indian Traditional Attire (mandatory) during all events, which is well received and commended by one & all.

There is a team of young and old, likeminded-dedicated members, who are the pillars of strength & support. The Foundation has been identifying and honoring Children & Youth in the Cultural Spectrum with Awards & Titles, instituting Endowments.

The Foundation would conduct cultural programmes in other cities & abroad on requests. Here is a captive audience and a great chance to promote Indian Art, Culture, and we welcome your support and suggestions to perpetuate a noble cause.
