Kanagasabai, is an institution, steeped in imparting training in Bharathanatyam, and imbibing culture, especially of South India.
Kanagasabai was started in a small way by Smt. Sasirekha Raammohan in the year 2002 in Mylapore, a locality that has grown with dance and music, since the days of stalwarts like Gowriammal etc.
Sasirekha trains children from a very young age. She gives a lot of importance to instill a sense of total joy and abandon while learning Bharathanatyam especially in young children. She provides children with performance opportunities to give them a sense of confidence.
