Eloquence came early to Aishwarya's dance. Even at age eight she captivated audiences during stage performances with neat footwork and felicity of expression.

She was hailed as a "child prodigy" by Guru Sri Adayar Lakshmanan. Aishwarya performed her arangetram when she was 10.

Blessed with a natural grace, Aishwarya enchants with versatile bhava. She has played a playful and pining Padmavathi, an ardent Uttara, a delicate Sita as well as an angry and powerful Shiva - key roles in several Bharathanjali dance ballets.

She has also given scores of solo performances at premier dance festivals, many prominent sabhas in India and also for a special gathering at the governor's mansion in Chennai. Seeking to be a true professional she says, "Wherever the place and whatever the role, I feel each performance deserves my best and I try to give it!"

A school topper, Aishwarya has preferred to devote time to dance, though several professional courses were within her reach. "I would rather be in my dance class than anywhere else," she says and unflinchingly puts in hours of training each day.

Completely dedicated to her guru, Aishwarya finds inspiration in Smt Anitha. She has been her disciple since age 5.One of the senior most students at Bharathanjali, Aishwarya trains in nattuvangam and choreography also. She practices yoga to keep herself supple.

Born in 1986, she is a Maths graduate from Stella Maris, Chennai. Dance, however, is her chosen career.
