Here is an interesting event to check out. A photo exhibition of the maestros of Carnatic music and the legendary divas of Indian Dance.

Sanskrit in Sivan's compositions

Papanasam Sivan is remembered by the musicians and rasikas for his Tamil compositions, especially on Sri Kapaleeswara and Karpagambal of Mylapore.
Do you know that Sivan also composed songs in Sanskrit? 'Srivalli devasenapate' in Natabhairavi raga is one among the Sanskrit compositions of Sivan.
