Book on violin maestro

Nandi Fine Arts is hosting a book release event on Dec.21 evening. The book is on violin maestro V. Lakshminarayan Iyer - His Life and Contribution to the world of music. Authored by violinists and sisters, Dr. M. Lalitha and M. Nandini, the book will be released by Narayana Viswanath (Editor in Chief -Sarigamapadani and the first copy will be received by Dr. K. J. Yesudas in the presence of hotelier K. R. V. Ramani.

Music fest at suburbs

The December season has travelled far and wide in this city.
Arts organisations has come up in the suburbs too.
Madipakkam, Nanganallur and Velachery on one side, Tambaram at the south end, Perambur and Anna Nagar in the western sectors.
Valasarawakkam, Virugambakkam and K K Nagar also have their sabhas.

In K. K. Nagar, Sri Rama Bhaktha Jana Samaj, K. K. Nagar has grown roots and attracts talent for its fest.
Its eleventh Annual Music Festival began on December 16.

The sabha honoured vocalist
T. N. Seshagopalan with ‘Sangeetha Mamani’ title and dancer Sailaja with the ‘Natya Kalaivani’ title.
Shows go on till January 6.

Venue : PSBB School, K K Nagar. The main concerts will be at 7 pm on all the days.
