Narada Gana Sabha awards
This year's Nadhabrahmam award preseneted by Narada Gana Sabha will be conferred on eminent vocalist P. S. Narayanaswamy. The 'senior musician' award will go to vocalist Manakkal Rangarajan.
The titles will be awarded on the inaugural day of the sabha's annual music festival on Dec. 15 at 5.45 pm.
Narada Gana Sabha hosts a pre music festival from Dec. 7 to 14 at its mini Hall. The annual music festival will begin on Dec. 15 and go on till Jan. 1, 2008.
Music festival of Mylapore Arts Academy
A ten day music festival, organised by the Mylapore Arts Academy is scheduled to be held from Nov. 21 to 30, 2007.
There will be one concert each day and the concerts start at 6.30pm.

On Nov. 21, a vocal concert by Neyveli Santhanagopalan will be held and the saxophone concert by Kadri Gopalnath is on Nov. 22.
Vocal concerts by R. Suryaprakash and Charulatha Mani will be on Nov. 23 and 24 respectively.
Flute recital by S. Sashank will be on Nov. 25.
Vasundhara Rajagopal will perform a vocal concert on Nov. 26.
M. Sudha Rani and Sriram Gangadharan will give vocal concerts on Nov. 27 and Nov. 28
Violin duet by Akkarai Sisters will be held on Nov. 29
The festival will conclude with a Hindustani Bhakti Sangeeth by Shankar Shanbogue on Nov. 30
