For the last nine years, at this time of year, the home of senior advocate, Venkataraman resounds to music of the season.
He and his family host the Dhanur Masa Festival, ‘Prabhatha Sangeetham’ at ‘Skandalaya’ at 7, Justice Sundaram Road, Mylapore.
From December 24 to January 15, music concerts will be held here between 5.30 and 6.30 am.
The series is being co-ordinated by musician Delhi P. Muthukumar.
Eminent artistes like O. S. Thyagarjan, Gayathri Girish and Suryaprakash and lots of talented young and budding artistes will perform at this unique event.
In a way, this is a chamber music programme.
An Akhanda Lalitha Sahasranama Parayanam will be conducted for 24 hours beginning from 5.30 am on December 31 and ending on January 1 at 5.30 am. For more details: 98417 29112.
