Charsur’s music fest is themed on Ksetras

Charsur Arts Foundation in Chennai which records and produces Carnatic music albums, streams online and curates music festivals has launched its own December Season festival on Monday, Dec.16 with a talk by historian V. Sriram.

From Dec.17 to 28, it hosts two concerts daily - starting at 4 pm and at 6.15 pm at a Mylapore space. Popular young artistes are featured here and they include Amrita Murali, Balamuralikrishna, Ramana Balachandran, Sunil Gargyan, Akkarai Sisters and Nisha Rajagopalan.

This year, the concerts are themed on ‘Ksetras from Mylapore to Kanyakumari.

Venue; Ramanujar Millenium Hall, 5A, D’Silva Road, Mylapore.
