If the December Season offers a rasika dozens of options to choose concerts he or she wants to go to and listen and artistes many a concert stage, there is a fair amount of buzz going on in the , online world. One of them is streaming live or putting out excerpts of concerts.

The Hindu newspaper which also gives space and time for coverage of the performing arts, with the Friday Review weekly section in the newspaper featuring news, features and interviews on music, dance, theatre and other art forms.

This Season, The Hindu, which is also active in its online operations has launched a section on its website, introducing one young, promising artiste daily, playing an excerpt of his or her music.

On Dec.6, for example, the section featured the young nagaswaram artiste Mylai M. Karthikeyan who will be performing not only at Music Academy but also elsewhere and is collaborating with other young artistes too.
