This music fest in south Chennai features top artistes

Besides sabhas, many private bodies also host concerts festivals in Chennai in December.

And some add some zing to their curation - some themed concerts, some collaborations. And it seems to go well with the audience.

Maximum Media is hosting its annual Marghazhi Maha Utsavam from Dec.1 to 13 at the Youth Hostel premises in Indira Nagar, south Chennai.

And the concerts here feature some top-notch artistes. S. Sowmya, Malladi Brothers, Amrita Murali, Amrutha Venkatesh, Vijay Siva and Vishaka Hari are lined up to perform in a semi-closed hall space set up in Hostel lawns.

Two concerts every evening, 4.45 p.m. onwards. Admission is on first come first serve basis and open to all.
