Tribute to Mandolin Srinivas

Tchaikovsky Music Club of Russian Center for Science and Culture is paying tribute to the late mandolin legend U. Srinivas by organising a series of events from Dec 14 - 18.
A photo exhibition on U. Srinivas will be inaugurated on Dec 14 with tributes by N. Murali, co - chairman, Kasturi and Sons Ltd and retd. Supreme Court Judge - Dr. S. Mohan.
At 11 am that Sunday, Anil Srinivasan (piano) and U Rajesh (mandolin) perform.
On Dec. 16 and 17, special tributes will be paid by the Martin Hayes and Dennis - the fiddle/guitar duo from Ireland and Kadri Gopalnath (saxophonist). The event ends on Dec.18 with a performance by Pandit Janardhan Mitta. At 74, Kasturi Ranga Road.
