Krishna Gana Sabha Fest opens on Dec.8

Sri Krishna Gana Sabha's 57th December Season fest takes off on December 8 this year. It will include the 32nd Natya Kala Conference and lead to the annual Nadaswaram Fest at Pongal time in January 2013.

The inaugural function of this festival (dedicated to vocalist T.Brinda in her birth centenary year) will be blessed by Pujyasri Ganapathi Sachchidhananda Swamigal of Datta Peetham, Mysore.

He will inaugurate the festival.

Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam will confer the 'Nrithya Choodamani' award on Saswati Sen (Kathak exponent ) Secretary, Kalashram and 'Aacharya Choodamani' award on Dr. Ambika Kameshwar (Bharathanatyam exponent and Director, RASA).

Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam and Suneetha Reddy, Apollo Hospitals will felicitate the awardees.

This will be followed by a Bharathanatyam recital by Bavya Balasubramaniam
