Mohiniyattam Collective presents lec-dems, shows. Chennai.
In continuation with Samavesh 2011, Lasyatarangini an online forum for Mohiniyattam, together with Alliance Francaise of Madras, is putting together an event, Samavesh II this season. It runs from Jan 7 to 13 and will tell the story of Mohiniyattam. .
Dance festival at music academy
The Music Academy's dance fest starts on Jan.3. And as always the fest offers rasikas the very best. On the opening evening, guru Sudharani Raghupathy will be decorated with the Natya Kala Acharya award by guest Jennifer Mcintyre, Consul Genl., USA. .
