She says it has been 25 years since Kala Pradarshini started its annual dedication to the timeless classical compositions of saint Thyagaraja. This year inspite of the pandemic, Kala Pradarshini has put together a virtual showcase of the brilliance of Thyagaraja’s work.

20 young and talented students of renowned gurus Urmila Sathyanarayan, Anitha Guha, Roja Kannan, Priya Murale, Radhika Surajith, Mahalakshmi Aswin, Binesh, Nidesh & Indu, Sailaja and Parvathi Ravi Ghantasala will be showcasing their performances to the compositions of Thyagaraja on the Pushya Bahula Panchami day.

Says Parvathi, "Though we are unable to bring these performances to the sabhas due to the restrictions, we have tried our best to make it happen on the e-platform."
