Charulatha Mani presents "Bhakthi Isai Payanam – A Tribute to Sri. Lalgudi Jayaraman", dedicated to the memory of the great vidvan. The concert will feature ragas and kritis popularised by the maestro, with special focus on the lyrical beauty and spirituality. Bhakthi sangeet such as Bhajans and Abhangs will also be sung.
Bhakthi Isai Payanam is on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Main Hall, East Mada Street, Mylapore, Chennai at 6:30 pm. The event is brought to you by Isai Payanam Trust (Regd.) in association with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Entry is free, all are welcome.
