Her latest is Sakhi and she says it is a theatre performance blending music, dance and poetry to look at many kinds of friendship, to portray many kinds of friends.
The songs are by poets old and new - in several languages - and the performance is by two young artistes: Carnatic vocalist Bharathi Ramasubban and Anjana Anand, a dancer trained in Kalakshetra who now teaches there.
Sakhi will be premiered on 23 Sept 2012, Sunday, 6.30pm, at the TN Rajaratinam Kalai Arangam, Adyar, Chennai.
