CHENNAI: Veena Festival

The 10th edition of Veena Mahotsavam in Chennai will start on September 5.
This year, a new record has been set in the number of artistes who are taking part.
The fest will last for 16 days with 113 recitals featuring 187 veena artistes.
Artistes from all over Tamilnadu, Pondy, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra & Telangana besides a few from Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Dubai and Mauritius.
The venue for this fest is Narada Gana Sabha's smaller auditorium in Alwarpet, Chennai.
The recitals are from September 5 to 21. Open to all.
