Umayalpuram village in Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu will host its annual religious and music fest, July 7 to 9. This is the birthplace of scholars Brahmasri.Swamy Bhagavathar, Sundara Bhagavathar & Krishna Bhagavathar, well known direct disciples of saint Thyagaraja. Also home to many well known musicians.
