Arkay Convention Centre at Mylapore in Chennai is hosting a series of lec-dems/ concerts.
- On September 7 at 10 a.m. the Karnatic Music Forum will organise a lecture on 'The Relevance of Music Theory in Carnatic Music' by Dr. N. Ramanathan.
- On September 8 at 6.15 p.m. a lec-dem on 'Common Mistakes in Carnatic Music' will be presented by Chitravina N. Ravikiran.
- On September 10 at 6.15 p.m., an audio-visual lecture 'Origin of Music and Dance' will be conducted by Dr. R. Nagaswamy.
